Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Forecast

The New York State Green House Gas Inventory and Forecast  (August 2009) was the starting point for the Climate Action Plan Inventory and Forecast. The inventory shows sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions; the forecast analyzes population and economic trends and other information that affects GHGs. This document was developed for the 2009 New York State Energy Plan and was revised and updated with additional data provided by the technical work groups during the Climate Action Plan process. 

Greenhouse Gas Inventory & Forecast Methodology and Preliminary Data

Each Mitigation Technical Work Group (TWG) reviewed and contributed data for an updated emissions inventory. Below is an overview of the common assumptions for each TWG.
